Two Oxfordshire schools join Ridgeway Education Trust

All Saints CofE Primary School in Didcot and Long Wittenham CofE Primary School have officially joined the Ridgway Education Trust.

The Didcot-based multi-academy trust currently comprises Didcot Girls’ School, St Birinus School, Sutton Courtenay CofE Primary School and Didcot Sixth Form.

It educates approximately 4,000 pupils in the area at the moment.

The chief executive of Ridgeway Education Trust, Rachael Warwick, said: “Our vision has always been to grow a trust of schools in Didcot and the surrounding community, creating a provision for with excellent education at its heart.

“We know that schools working with high levels of collaboration in a local area can achieve far more together than on their own.

"Our current schools are high performing and oversubscribed so now feels the right time to take our next step in growth.”
