Winner of a national competition for UK Food Teachers, organised by "Fun Healthy Chinese Cuisine" and sponsored by Lee Kum Kee - a very famous sauce company in Hong Kong. 

Representing St Birinus School Mrs Kumagai won the first session in Oxford on 3rd December 2022 and then on 20th May, 8 teachers who won in the first session got together in London for the grand final to produce two dishes. One dish was the same for all of competitors (beef and broccoli in oyster sauce) to be produced in 30 minutes, and the other dish was a creative dish with just an hour to plate. 

Mrs Kumagai has won an all expenses paid trip to Hong Kong for 6 days! Congratulations!
