This year, our Duke of Edinburgh Awards evening took place on Wednesday 10th October 2018. We are delighted that, out of 29 boys in our largest Bronze Group to date, 23 have now completed the Award.

Our Silver Group also did us proud, passing the expedition part of the Award. The expedition is always a challenge, with three days of walking and two of camping, but it was made even more demanding this year because it took place in the scorching temperatures at the end of the summer term. The boys got up extra early to miss the heat of the afternoon.

Congratulations to Shaun Fuller and Matt Selby, both in Year 13, who have now completed their Silver Award and our thanks to the Mayor of Didcot, Cllr Bill Service and his wife Angela, for joining us on the night.
