We are delighted and proud that Didcot Sixth Form Student, Elizabeth Cairns, has won third prize in the Newnham College Essay Prize for Music this year. This is a prestigious competition is entered by students from across the country and comes with a £100 prize. Elizabeth's essay investigated how transport and infrastructure have affected the history of music and how it might affect the future of music. Well done, Elizabeth!
