On Monday 21st October, students from Year 8 were visited by James Kitchin, a reporter and presenter at BBC Radio Oxford.

James shared a range of very exciting details about the media, careers and the BBC. The insights into the world of journalism were fascinating!

The main reason for James' visit was to launch BBC's Young Reporter Competition which invites young people across the country to submit a report/story of their choice to the BBC. Should their story be shortlisted, the BBC will produce and broadcast it nationwide - so exciting!
