Our Executive Headteacher, Rachael Warwick, has been appointed as President of ASCL for 2019-2020. The Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) is the professional association and trade union for school and college leaders across the country. It is a great honour to be elected as President by the Council which represents the Association’s twenty thousand members.

Rachael will combine her role as ASCL President this year with her role as Executive Headteacher of Ridgeway Education Trust. As President, she will listen to and represent the views of school and college leaders to government, contribute to and champion ASCL policy, and represent ASCL at key events and in the media. We are delighted that Rachael’s role will shine a light on the fantastic work taking place in our schools and create networks to share best practice which will directly benefit our children and young people.
